We know that driving a minibus is very different from driving a car which is why we think it’s important that you provide your drivers with training and support to ensure they are safe and competent drivers when on the road.
If driving a minibus is part of an employee’s job then they will usually be required to obtain a Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) that requires them to complete 35 hours of training. This is a legal requirement that will help them to safely operate the vehicle.
If they are not required to drive the minibus as part of their primary job role then we would still recommend that you provide drivers with tailored minibus training to help keep them and their passengers safe.
Our company can provide you with support and guidance on setting up and maintaining a driver training programme. If you would like to learn more about this then you can visit our dedicated driver training page or get in touch with the team on 01722 322 888.
